In The Beginning

SO what came first the world you want to tell the story in or the story. Me I think it's a kind of squishy casserole of both. Mostly because the story probably wouldn't work in some other setting and with out the characters the setting has hardly any life. Of course half the time I think I don't have any idea what I'm talking about.

See I have this Idea for a story and the world it's set in but I keep getting hung up on things. See the science geek in me wants the planet to make sense but the writer/book geek just doesn't care and if I wasn't split evenly on the whole thing I could get somewhere on it.
